Censeo Advisors, LLC is pleased to announce Ned Gerhold has joined the firm as a Vice President. Ned’s recent professional experience includes Employee Stock Ownership Plan (“ESOP”) valuation and feasibility work prepared for both sell-side (investment banking) and buy-side (trustee) purposes. He has also delivered merger and acquisition (“M&A”) advisory services and business valuations for strategic planning, gift and estate tax planning and compliance, and buy-sell agreements. Ned has managed or participated in business succession transactions, ranging in size from $7.0 million to $1.0 billion.

His industry exposure is diverse and includes, among others, construction, manufacturing and distribution, retail, tree care, financial services, restaurants, retail, wholesale, technology, healthcare, and professional services.

Prior to Censeo Advisors, Ned was a Director at a Midwest-based boutique investment banking firm. Before that, he was the Director of Finance for a Fortune 500 global apparel company, supervising top-down / bottom-up budgeting of business lines up to $3.5 billion, short-term / long-range company planning, inventory management, and marketing effectiveness.

Ned received a Bachelor of Arts in English from Capital University in Columbus, Ohio, and a Master of Business Management from Thunderbird School of Global Management in Phoenix, Arizona, and Tokyo, Japan. He is an Accredited Member (“AM”) / Accredited Senior Appraiser (“ASA”) candidate in business valuation with the American Society of Appraisers. He holds Financial Industry Regulatory Authority Series 63 and 70 securities licenses (noncurrent registration) and is a member of both The ESOP Association and the National Center for Employee Ownership.
