Censeo Advisors, LLC is headquartered in the Atlanta metropolitan area and supports clients across the country. We are a professional services firm dedicated to providing proven business valuation, financial advisory, tangible asset appraisal, and forensic analysis services.

We are currently seeking a Senior Business Valuation Associate to join us. Our Associates play a critical role in the execution of our various services. This position is designed to provide a broad range of professional development experiences, enabling you to contribute early and often to nearly every phase of a client engagement.

Associates on our team have the opportunity to tackle a wide variety of interesting projects, including valuations of business entities, tangible and intangible assets, and intellectual property; employee stock ownership plan (“ESOP”) valuation and adequate consideration opinions; tax planning and compliance valuation; forensic accounting investigations; transaction fairness opinions and solvency opinions; lost profits and economic damages analyses; acquisition method analyses and impairment studies; transaction support and due diligence; and complex capital structure allocations.

What Will You Do?

  • Analyze client financial statements and ancillary information
  • Manage client data and document requests and collection
  • Prepare due diligence and management interview questions
  • Participate in communications and dialogues with client personnel and representatives
  • Conduct industry and economic research
  • Perform valuation modeling, including discounted cash flow, merged, and acquired, and guideline public company analyses
  • Generate client deliverables including valuation exhibits, letters, reports, and other presentations

What Will You Need to Do It?

  • Undergraduate degree in Finance or a related field with strong record of academic performance
  • Familiarity with, and coursework in, finance, economics, and accounting preferred, but not mandatory; liberal arts backgrounds will also be considered
  • Excellent report-writing and verbal communication skills, and strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products with emphasis on Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Attention to detail, healthy skepticism, commitment to excellence, desire to learn and improve, and initiative
  • Ability to thrive in a team-oriented, timeline-driven environment, prioritize tasks, and work on multiple assignments concurrently
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to work long hours as project backlog dictates
